Meet Miranda
Puppy Therapy was created by me, Miranda, a yoga teacher and counsellor with a background in trauma-informed yoga, counselling, and psychology. For years I’ve worked in not-for-profit settings delivering yoga programs designed to support mental health, wellbeing and community connection. My passion has always been making
movement accessible, meaningful and fun for everyone. As someone who has
always adored dogs, I wanted to find a way to bring my love for animals and my experience in wellbeing together and share that joy with the wider community.
Puppy Therapy is a family-run business based in the Sutherland Shire, established in 2024. What began as a small idea quickly grew into something really special. Our public Puppy Yoga classes were an instant hit, bringing people together through movement, mindfulness and the undeniable happiness of being surrounded by puppies.
About Puppy Therapy
Since then we’ve expanded to offer a range of unique experiences including Puppy Pilates, Puppy Playgroup for kids 12 and under, and puppy meditation events. We also collaborate with community organisations to share gentle movement and puppy love with people who can truly benefit from it. Beyond our regular sessions, we’ve brought Puppy Therapy to birthdays, hens parties, corporate team-bonding events, and more... creating joyful, memorable experiences for all kinds of groups.
At its heart, Puppy Therapy is about connection, community and creating welcoming spaces where people can relax, move and experience the simple joy that puppies bring. It’s a beautiful blend of my professional background and personal passion and it’s been incredible to watch the community embrace it!
